They had a beautiful crisp and full sound, very sensitive, and the drum sounds big and powerful….with no after buzz whatsoever!! I have been playing a long time and these wires sound better than anything else I’ve had on the drum. They also had a very slight after buzz, like one wire was just vibrating a tad too long. To my ears, the Puresound wires were more “harsh” sounding….didn’t really notice it until the Canopus wires were put on. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvement in sound.
